IN LOVING MEMORY

Roosevelt "Roo/Roobee" Wu, 13, formerly of Laurel, MD, Ithaca, NY, New York, NY, Staten Island, NY and Tokyo, Japan, passed away 25 February, 2004 in Burtonsville, MD. Sweet and loving until his final days, Roo was laid to rest at the veterinarian's recommendation following deteriorating health.

Adopted as a puppy from the 92nd Street ASPCA on July 2, 1990, Roo was named after the Franklin Delano Roosevelt Drive on the east side of Manhattan. Extremely intelligent, Roo could be found scaling six-foot fences, eating 40 lb bags of dog food, barking at blimps, digging escape routes, howling at fire engines, scared stiff by thunderstorms and fireworks, swimming in lakes, flooding houses, learning foreign languages, surviving cancer and turning a family into dog-fanatics. Roo is survived by Charley Chang Wu, Kabo "Kibbe" Wu, Kuma Wu, Lucky "Luckleberry" Wu, Franklin "Frankie" Wu, Theodore "Teddy" Wu, Xiao-Hei Wu, as well as Barry Adkins, Frances, Julie and Vickie Wu.
